CLUTCH shifts into overdrive with US tour
New York, NY - DRT recording artist Clutch have announced additional September and October tour dates to support their newest release, the acclaimed Robot Hive/Exodus. Their new dates begin October 25 in Greeneville, SC immediately following the conclusion of the band's UK tour supporting CKY.
Robot Hive/Exodus debuted on the Billboard Top 200 at #93, the highest debut of the band's career. The critics are raving about the release with Revolver calling the album "deliciously funky," and awarding it 4 *'s. "There are riffs here that are big enough to have their own postcode", said Kerrang -- 4 K's. The album's first single, "10001", debuted at #47 on active rock R&R and is still receiving steady airplay. The video for "Burning Beard" has also been nominated for Video of the Year on MTV's Headbanger's Ball.
Fresh off a successful co-headlining stint on the summer's hottest tour, Sounds of the Underground, Clutch prepare their sonic assault on North America to last throughout the end of 2005 and beyond.
