Fists banging into the air, screaming fans pushing their way to the front of the stage, audience sing-alongs, and meet-and-greets in front of the tour bus after their performances, Finnish melodic metallers SONATA ARCTICA's live shows are an experience that will leave you with feelings of amazement. With several sold-out shows already under their belt, SONATA ARCTICA continue on their first headlining tour of North America and have booked an additional show at Mark's Place in Bedford, New Hampshire for February 23rd. The tour will come to an end in Québec City in CANADA on February 24th.
In other news, SONATA ARCTICA's 2005 album Reckoning Night has been certified gold in Finland for sales in excess of 15,000 copies. The band achieved the same feat with their third studio album, Winterheart's Guild in 2003. The band are also confirmed to play this year's Gods Of Metal festival in Italy in early June and the Tuska Open Air festival in Helsinki, Finland in late June/early July.
The live SONATA ARCTICA CD & DVD, entitled For the Sake of Revenge, is scheduled for release in the U.S. and Canada on April 4th, 2006.
