As previously reported, the 2006 edition of the Bloodstock Open-Air festival is taking place on July 14th-15th 2006 at Catton Hall, South Derbyshire, UK.
Organizers have now announced the festival headliners; EDGUY (July 14th) and STRATOVARIUS (July 15th).
Also, RAGE have been confirmed to make a rare UK appearance on Friday, July 14th.
Acts to appear at the festival now include (in alphabetical order): ASHTAR, ATHEIST, CALLENISH CIRCLE, EDGUY, ENSIFERUM, EVILE, HEADLESS CROSS, METAL CHURCH, NOCTURNAL RITES, PITIFUL REIGN, PYRAMAZE, RAGE, RAUNCHY, SEASON'S END, STRATOVARIUS, TURISAS.
Two-day tickets with two nights camping are ?55.00 subject to booking fee, and are available from www.bloodstock.uk.com. More ticket info can be found at the festival website: www.bloodstock.uk.com. The capacity for the event is 5,000.
