The Gauntlet: A Dozen Furies Metal News

A Dozen Furies video premiere

A Dozen Furies Fans are eagerly anticipating the unveiling of A Dozen Furies brand new video for "The Cycle", which will air on MTV2's Headbangers Ball program this Saturday, September 17th. Said by director Darren Doane to be a very "dangerous" video to shoot, viewers will be treated to an energetic and exciting display from the "Battle For Ozzfest" winners.

A clip is interlaced with some exciting visual effects, Headbangers Ball watchers can expected to be treated to "10 foot pyrotechnics" as guitarist Marc Serrano revealed during a recent interview with The Gauntlet.

One of the most exciting metal albums of 2005, A Dozen Furies blend unbridled aggression with a distinct tunefulness on their Sanctuary Records debut "A Concept From Fire." The group landed the deal with Sanctuary Records as part of the grand prize for winning the touted "Battle For Ozzfest" program.

Headbangers Ball, hosted by Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta airs Saturday evenings at 10 pm ET. The program is rated TV-14.
