EKOTREN’S DEBUT CD DROPS TOMORROW; VIDEO DETAILS REVEALED
A new era begins. LIGHT THE FIRE, the long-awaited full-length by Florida metalcore band EKOTREN, will be released on February 19 in North America, February 20 in Japan, and February 25 in Europe.
The first single “Tranquilized” has been tearing across the airwaves, earning titles as Most Added Band on FMQB and #4 on CMJ’s Loud Rock charts. EKOTREN is slated to shoot a video for the song with David Brodsky [My Good Eye], who has directed for some of the biggest up-and-coming names including Strapping Young Lad, Suicide Silence, and the Red Chord. On a rare day off during their national tour with Ill Nino, the video will be shot on February 25 in New Jersey and is tentatively set for a March premiere.
Title track “Light The Fire” has made a big impact on Sirius satellite radio, currently standing at #8 on the Devil’s Dozen (Sirius Hard Attack’s Weekly Top Songs Countdown).
EKOTREN will be on tour with Ill Nino and Droid until March 2nd and will celebrate their homecoming with a CD release party on March 8th at Club Ricochet in Fort Myers, Florida.
