Naglfar has returned once again to grace you with its presence. "Harvest" is the next album to place on top of your Naglfar collection, which half the appeal of this band might be their acute skills of playing some excellent extreme black metal, or maybe it's the name...Naglfar. I find both to be appealing.

"Harvest" is another excellent black metal shred fest that has Naglfar reminding you just how good they can make black metal sound. As oppose to those other BM bands that go for the faded production, Naglfar make sure you get more than an ear full. Dismal and bleak in the form of fast paced hatred serves up "Harvest" which will have fans new and old going back and revisiting their older material. Completely engulfing rage is what Naglfar set out to do. This rage is reflected in their music, well played and articulate extremities in heavy. If you would like to compare and contrast to previous recordings this one is just as exciting as the rest, so be prepared to keep it spinning.

What is best about Naglfar is that even though a decent time goes by before you get another album, when they do produce new material, its devastating. These guys are one of the better consistent heavy bands out there as fans are aware and for those of you unaware this is one of those "do yourself a favor" bands.
