Difficult to see how those who enjoyed the 'Taste Of Chaos' tour are going to enjoy this very well. Eighty percent of the material here leans toward the emo side of the spectrum and to make things that much more bizarre, this is a Christmas record.

It would have been far, vastly far more appealing to hear Killswitch Engage play 'White Christmas' than to hear most of the stuff on this album.

Skindred saves the day with the most Irie version of 'Jingle Bells' around and Opiate For The Masses are rough and tough with 'Christmas Evel.' Other than that, you aren't likely to hear about many of these bands on The Gauntlet, nor are their stabs at penning Christmas jingles particularly inspiring in the least.
