This is another Comeback Kid and if you don't know em' by now then listen up, where as if you are already a fan then you know how much energy this band carries with every release.

"Broadcasting" takes to a much more extreme approach to the usual anthem ridden straightforward hardcore. Their sound hasn't changed drastically but they make do with what they are given still, their sound is certainly more aggressive on this release. Alot more riff action going on than the usual gradual chord progression lead ins to big chorus. Of course that element is still present but Comeback Kid has a way of doing it intelligently.

I'm usually not fond of such modern day forms of HC but Comeback Kid have this charisma that doesn't let up with each release, they can still get you caught up in the music. This ability to captivate is a rare trait for a band to have these days, especially of this musical orientation. Those gang vocals also become a natural part of the album which I think Comeback Kid got at least 30 people to do this time, that's how it sounds anyway. A massive chorus of proclamation and themes of positive encouragement of your acts as a person will never get old. In a world full of cynicism you need some sort of alternative and bands like Comeback Kid push in a better direction that is action, positive action.

I was surprised to hear the difference in this album, my previous speculation was considering "Broadcasting" to be just a "Waking The Dead" or even another carbon copy of previous releases but they keep evolving, even if it's in minor ways.
