Pseudo-industrial urban warriors with a density that meets the most thumping stuff around for a head-on battle, Bleed For Me are an ensemble that refuse to back off from their hard nosed blood and guts metal virtues, even when throwing in a bit of core as on 'Venom Of God' which relays a relentless refrain which morphs into a full-on lynch mob by the tracks bone-splintering coda and subsequent pan from the bloodthirsty masses. Subsequently, the rhythmic, looping instrumental passages that initiate the following track, 'My Thoughts Light Fires In Your Cities' as the group pull substance from within, contorting visions into a mad, looping, hypnotic manifestation just prior to the group gaining a completely unruly feel to really kick in 'Fresh Air Hymnal', a manic mess of splattered distortion and menacing growls. Several vocal sound clips emphasize the underlying emotions in the group's musical structure, as the second portion of this cut being a great example of what the band can do sonically with just a short clip as inspiration. As a defining factor which makes this record truly great, Bleed For Me play tones that are familiar, but arrange these concepts in a manner which is certainly heavy whilst retaining its own character and in this day and age, that's no short order. In the thick grooves of 'Composition' almost any listener who appreciates weighty tonality will find moments to appreciate. When taken as an outright piece of art, this record decidedly places Bleed For Me head and shoulders above a great many of their peers in the genre.
