Goatwhore has made a progression so profound since their last album, they have set the bar with their signature brand of "black n' roll". Have you ever heard guitars sound like a rusty chainsaw? Well, you have now. There is not end to how devastating these guitars sound. The song craft on Carving out the eyes of God is like another dimension from where this band was before. Goatwhore has really found their own sound with this new album, Apocalyptic Havoc will be igniting mosh pits for the rest of time. If Satan drank a bottle of whisky and went on a murder spree with a chainsaw in Texas, He would be listening to Goatwhore as he flattened the cities.
