God Dethroned don't waste any time producing more music at a bi annual rate. This would bring down material for some acts but for God Dethroned they have been living and breathing death metal for quite so time, so it probably comes naturally.

"The Toxic Touch" is the God Dethroned still doing what they know best. In comparison to previous releases it doesn't really go to much further in ways of quality. Consistency then is this band's saving grace. Fans of God Dethroned will hear the band sticking to their dusty trail which might not thrill many but it keeps it in the vein of God Dethroned. Which is a positive for new listeners that may come along, they will be able to adapt to the band's history of material.

While there isn't much progression to this release it's still some fine death metal. Interest is hard to hold onto throughout the duration of "The Toxic Touch" but you'll find your own gems within the disc.
