Finnish metal sextet Amorphis have undergone a few metamorphosis moments in their 17 year career, going from full-on death metalists to a darker folk metal entity, yet the resilient troupe remains undaunted. ECLIPSE is the outfit's latest offering, a 10-track affair that features the band's new lead singer as well as the band's rediscovered experimentally metal side shining through on cuts like 'House of Sleep' and 'The Smoke'.
