I think this may be the album where all the people who accidentally decided to like this band realize that they are indeed terrible. “The Truth” might come out of lead singer Brandan “Love for the liner” Schieppati’s poorly executed melodic and abrasive vocals but it’s nothing you haven’t already heard before from the band, lyrically and musically. Ready to take you for another ride on the Love Lost So I’m Gonna’ Whine And Cry About It Some More train with such recycled tunes as “For Love And Falling”, and “Love in slow Motion” you can bet the band will be teaming up with My Chemical Romance and Linkin Park for their next tour (one can only hope). Even sadder is the site of the people who actually indulge in this band’s reoccurring themes which only encourages them to keep making albums. Something has to be done. Hopefully the band will crush their own following by this album, an album which follows the same suit as their previous efforts and the same breakdowns too. Don’t forget about those rehashed breakdowns; remember kids, whenever you are in doubt do a breakdown and they will be yours again. Joking aside for just a quick moment, this band, or rather its guitarists could have been considered formidable players of things metal and core but they regress with this album terribly and borrow from themselves constantly. To add to the weak songs, the relevance of the band’s keyboardist Marta is once again questioned as her role in the band is shadowed further by the unnecessary use of her electronically keyed instrument which doesn’t contribute a damn thing. If by hearing this album you cannot notice the redundancy, or do notice it and choose to continue your liking of Bleeding Through then you are truly lost. “The Truth” is bullshit.
