6. The Nightmare
7. Promising Demise

Juxtaposing crushing grind with pummeling death metal, Kansas-based quartet Diskreet leave quite the impression after its seven-song sojourn passes through your speakers. Think about scenes of mass wreckage, unconquerable grief, and stifled cries for help leading this brutal brigade through spine-cracking cuts such as “The Nightmare” and “The Biggler Complex” (which comes with sound bite courtesy of SIN CITY). Playing in the poisoned vein of groups like The Acacia Strain, The Red Chord, and Job for a Cowboy, these purveyors of dastardly grooves, steamroller riffs, and technically-sound chaos make a strong first impression on INFERNAL RISE.
