Tracklist
1. Helplessness
2. Making up for Lost Time
3. I, Deviant

7. Soothing Torture
8. Clawing at the Nerve
9. A Prayer for the Feeble
10. Fallout

Don't let the calming piano intro on SOOTHING TORTURE trick you into thinking this disc is going to be something of a relief, because Insense provides nothing of the sort.

While there are parts of the 10-track offering where the Norwegian troupe lapse into Neurosis-esque ethereal jams, the majority of the tracks such as 'I, Deviant' and the title cut fall somewhere in between Sepultura's raw heaviness, Meshuggah's technical prowess, and Strapping Young Lad's ornate song structuring, making this release a brawny juggernaut that fans of extreme metal collisions should eat up.
