When grindcore became my favorite category of heavy music I soon became aware of the repetitions that all genres have and sadly my favorite has plenty of its own, these days grindcore has developed many different directions making it the type of abrasive music that has plenty of great possibilities. Antigama are aware if these possibilities and utilize them with their follow up to 'Discomfort' with this nine song short but excellent album 'Zeroland' which has what looks like a character from Tron on the cover.

Blasting through hard with all kinds of twisted nooks of distorted sound electronic distortion that of which might not have any kind of effect but if so it is what gives Antigama their defining sound besides their already blistering sonic evisceration that only they could bear full comprehension of and what will leave you dismantled wanting more. There are definitely noise influences surrounding this band and the way they manipulate those influences is their own brand of grind that fulfills even with the shortest time.

It's kind of hard to tell exactly what is making the grotesque banshee type screams in this album which proves how fun vocal distortion is even though I have the feeling they already have a head start being the insane motherfuckers they are. This whole disc feels like you are getting flayed in a static dimension and hence a must for any grind fan or any fan who is into extreme music of any sort. 'Zeroland' is certainly a place unearthly.
