6. Try
7. Shit Fro

Blustering, detuned blasts of intensive fury inhabit the digits of 'Discomfort'. This record will stand as being aptly named, as the band's music is the realization of some of the most unsettling, roaring grind around. A progressive bent to mechanical, heartfelt harmonic distortion reveals honesty within the gnarling, frenzied 'Stupid Fuck'.

While Antigama take occasion to grind away relentlessly, they also have the ear to add poignant, snapping breaks that persuade instantaneous whiplash. 'Try' is hyper-manic, calculatedly uncontrollable, and nothing short of crushing. Eardrums burst on 'President Says Yes', a track that's uniquely geared toward obliteration in general.

Antigama seize every opportunity to redefine the term extreme, most often resulting in a whirling tornado of boundary breaching energy that literally flattens anything in its path.

Both 'Bolo' and 'Bloodmaker' stand as diverse examples of just exactly how much sonic demolition Antigama can dish out in only one minute. The latter, a sizzling batch of boisterous sonic bludgeoning should easily provide your fix of metal intensity.

Unsettlingly provocative, Antigama exceed all expectations, challenging the listener as well as their music al peers to push the confines of grind.

In the early '70s, Ted Nugent used to challenge fellow rock guitarists to on-stage "guitar duels," including bouts with Frank Marino and MC5's Wayne Kramer, to name a few.
