If you're digging the direction of groups like In Flames and Soilwork, you'll find that Bleed The Sky manage to maintain the level of harmony that those artists achieve, while retaining a raw and aggressive sensibility. From the soaring hook that completely makes the lead off cut, 'Minion' to abrasive and unstoppable title track, Bleed The Sky prove that they can stand toe to toe with some of the greatest groups in the extreme metal scene today. BTS take things from a straightforward metal approach, and then add unusual twists to give things a unique quality. Things stay heavy as the band plows through soaring, industrial strength 'Skin Un Skin' and take the listener on a futuristic journey to the point where Nu Metal and Metalcore meet on 'Leverage'. 'Gated' announces itself with volume swells and a trance inducing riff that segues into a chunking rhythm which features partially backwards masked, ethereal sounding vox. This group extends drama throughout their songs, intertwining scattered effects and dynamics for maximum effect. Bleed The Sky can be heard at their most intense on the spiraling slammer 'Division', as the six members utilize layering to much success. You don't need to watch for big things for these guys, 'Paradigm In Entropy' is reason enough to believe that Bleed The Sky are a serious metal contender.
